About Mrs. Luczak
My husband, Lee, and I live in Plainfield with our son, Matt, his wife, Bree, our beautiful granddaughter, Zoe, and our grand-dog, Maggie. I love to travel around the United States with my family. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Northern Illinois University in 1984 and my Master's Degree from St. Xavier University in 1996. In the past, I taught for seven years in second and fourth grade in a Catholic School in Cicero. I taught in the Berwyn North Schools at the first, second, and fourth grade levels for seven years. I also taught a graduate course in Education at Lewis University. This year I will have the privilege of teaching my 34th year. This will be my 20th year in the Troy School District. I previously taught at Troy Craughwell before having the opportunity to teach in a brand new building in 2008, Troy Hofer. I have taught first, third and fourth grades here in our Hofer home. I am excited to be on this journey with your children!
My BeliefI believe that children are able to learn through many modes. When they understand exactly what is expected of them, they can be actively engaged in the constructive learning experience.
